Flaxseeds For Breast Pain

  • My breast tenderness actually increased when I switched from a vegetarian diet to a HCLF, whole, plant based, vegan lifestyle. The overall health benefits of a vegan lifestyle far outweigh a few uncomfortable symptoms I'm experiencing. I also realize that stopping taking hormonal bc (after taking it for 15 years) has more to do w/ my body adjusting to a natural cycle (hence increased breast pain) than my shift to the vegan lifestyle.
    In regards to flaxseeds: I add the ground flax seeds to salads, soups, oats, burritos, and now I'll try to increase the amount and see if it makes a difference.
