  • I am 100% veagn and 70% raw for 2 years and the secret of health is : eat lots of fruits and vegetables ! eat simply : boiled rice + steamed veggies (no oils, fats), dates, broccoli, bananas, pasta + real tomato souce + herbs, baked potatoes etc . In general eat simply , as low fat as possible, no chemicals! eat as much as your body needs no less no more. Eat to live not live to eat 😀 Don't eat junk food, cook at home ! Increase bodily activity and Voila! recipe for happy healthy long life 😀

  • have you been reading the works of Dr. Clark ? LOL… i think that is a definite possibility… a cheap & easy home remedy for possible parasites would be drinking bentonite clay (i was just reading up about this last night) although, raw garlic & ginger, quality honey, & especially papaya seeds are good things to consume on a regular basis to prevent & kill parasites… also 1 to 3 bowel movements a day helps "flush" them out, or at least the eggs, so LOTS of fiber!

  • Maybe you should try cutting out all animal products for a while, 30 days or so? I think that would be very interesting. Dairy can cause many problems for humans with its high protein and calsium levels.

  • There is no need to eat fish to get healthy omega-3 fatty acids. The omega-3 acid ALA is found in non-animal sources like walnut, flax, and olive oils. The human body converts ALA into essential EPA and DHA – the omega-3 acids found in fish. According to peer-reviewed research in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the omega-3 ALA is sufficient to meet the dietary needs of humans.

  • ..just seen these other comments. my advise would be to cut the fat % of your diet right down, whilst also cutting out the dairy – like daliadieu says, try it for a month and see how you feel 🙂

  • One of the main reasons that people with FMS eat so poorly is that when you are in excruciating pain you don't feel much like standing in front of a stove for an hour and cooking so you get fast food. I'm going to try going veg, though, and I'll let you guys know if it helps at all.

  • I've began juicing and drinking smoothies. A diet of mainly fruits and Vegetables. I've noticed a big change in my energy and pain levels. I'm now convinced that the best and most underused medicine at our disposal is FOOD. Food can cause disease and it can also HEAL.

  • four months 100% Raw Vegan & I'm never looking back! Fibromyalgia is under control, no more CFS. I'm off all medications apart from the ones for my underactive Thyroid which the dosage has been cut down. Happy day's getting my life back! 😁

  • i need to know why people are certain fibromyalgia actually exist if there is not an actual medical proof that it exist? you can't know that with blood tests or actually anything more than symptoms

  • Hmm.. I was finally diagnosed a few months ago with Fibromyalgia, around the time I went vegetarian. I’m now vegan, so I guess I’ll up my raw veggie intake and see how it goes. Small studies, for sure, but probably worth a try. If you have the energy to prepare raw veggies, of course.
